2 Posts in one Day???

I wanted to share my Copic Kenny K pages that I completed late last night in front of the TV... I am not as good as the people who have been trained to use these or those who have had time to learn - I have never been to a class on colour or Copics but I am happy with the outcome of what I achieved even if it was really my second only good play with my copic markers - okay so you can see lines and I need to play with the blending etc but I am happy so far it's all about the practice.

These are from Kenny K Downloads and I really enjoy all his prints these are all I own so far though.

Blast from the Past...2009...

I said I would show you some past work over the next month...well here is some layouts that I completed in 2009 which feels like it was only yesterday! Where is the time flying???

The photos below were taken on the same day at the same place by three different people...my husband took the first, I took the next and my hubbies best mate took the last...

Hope you find some inspiration from these layouts and find some precious time to scrap!

Last nights layouts...

Well since all the house cleaning is done and the washing machine is still working I have time to show you the layouts that I complete late last night including the double layout...

This double layout I had been struggling with for ages... when it comes to scrapbooking my style is simple (but stunning - well hopefully lol). I had to play with this but the end result is okay.

This layout of Father and Daughter holds one of my favourite photos that I took of these two on holidays in Canberra... I had been working on this one for awhile and came up with this after having to use a sketch for HELP!

The one I started on last night - sometimes you just need that helping hand to figure out what is wrong plus a warm cuppa to see it through. My mum chose the ribbon and I was underway - all the other ribbons I own didn't look right. I can't believe she was this small 12 months ago!

I hope you liked and find some inspiration to scrap some this week. I will share more layouts over the next month even older ones that I have done that I love...

In the Scrap Room!!!

Okay it looks like cyclone Pamela has made a huge mess and a bomb has exploded!!! lol... It has taken me so much time to do a Double layout (Argh)... Between everyone in the house being sick it has been a rather tough day. So now I sit here contemplating doing another page or two but you know when you feel so low and nothing seems to gel it makes it so hard...

Anyhow I shall share tomorrow when I take photos of all that I have done.

Autumn almost gone...

As I sit here watching Downtown Abby - hmm shall see how good this is.  I hear the rain absolutely pouring down (finally!!!).  

I have two layouts to share with you today; one I completed two nights ago which was started after midnight...  I really love this photo of our youngest Princess taken last year.

 The doily has been glimmermisted with two colours, the flowers were white until I glimmermisted them also, there are two ribbons one over the other, plus the bling inside the doily.  The Stamps of Life Heading and date, stamped with Vivid Inks. 

This next layout was also a photo taken last year and I was struggling with this until I got some more Stamps from The Stamps of Life which helped me make the heading and the banner at the top!

Kaisercraft paper used and also my copic markers were used on the 7 today Happy Birthday,  I am still learning how to use the copic markers but I love playing with them.

1st Birthday

The year has flown and it is always so fast when a new baby is born than that year later they turn one!!!  Well that happened today She turned one!  I am feeling old.  But she is oh so cute and has really enjoyed her night with her pressies and her cake.  I love that she now loves cuddles.  We had such a lovely time. 

All I can say on this matter is enjoy every moment in life as it just goes so fast!!! 

Where has the time flown?

Well it's been awhile and so much has happened... We went on holidays to Qld to see our family.  They finally got to meet the newest member of our family Mikayla who in 10 days time turns 1... I can't believe this year has flown by!  We had one of the best holidays and rather refreshing we really needed it.  Mikayla took her first steps on holidays at Grandpa's plus she waved and said bye bye for the first time.  Was so excited to see this and it was so cute!

When we flew home to WA we landed at midnight, half way home which is a good 2 hours we blew a front left tire at 110k's that is sheer suicide (OUCH)...just glad it was Darryn driving and not me.  Well no RAC service for that time of morning as there is no 24 hour roadside asist in that area...huh?  Now you ask why didn't we change the tire ourselves...hmmm pitch black 2:30am in the morning no lights on a dark part of the highway - plus couldn't work out that there was plastic caps over the bolts on the wheel.  What was the go with that?  Finally a couple who had a rough day with cars pulled up an helped us out so we were home by 4:30am and into bed only to have my husband turn around and drive back to the airport to pick up friends who stayed with us for these past two weeks.  They now leave in the morning.

I made a card for my adopted dad that I would like to share with you tonight.  I used "The Stamps of Life" by Stephanie Bernard.  Have a look The Stamps of Life her shipment fee's are cheap especially internationally and  I have fallen in love with the stamps that Stephanie makes they are just what I need on my Scrapbook pages, but I have been able to play with cards and feel comfortable in making them.  So here is my first card using a couple of her stamps.

I used the flower from flower2build with the Tim Holtz distress inks and I got this effect...Wow.  Also the other stamp I used was "I thank my God every time I remember you.  Philippians 1:3
